Where to stay

The charming white villages of the Alpujarras, the beautiful city of Granada with its Moorish heritage and the lush Lecrín valley are a few of the places where you can base yourself for your visit to the Sierra Nevada. A mix of rustic apartments, large villas with pools, boutique hotels and cheap hostels cater to most tastes and budgets. On the following pages we describe some of the best areas to stay, and also provide information about alternative accommodation options such as camping or staying at the basic mountain cabins in the National Park (“refugios”). We have also provided some links to help you get started with your search for accommodation.
