A straightforward and pleasant walk in the pine forests of the Sierra de Huétor, with some fantastic views of the whole of the Sierra Nevada, which are particularly spectacular with winter snow cover. This walk could be combined with the Cruz de Víznar walk to make a longer circuit.

Level The walk is straightforward – although it has a couple of uphill sections, these are not too steep. The trail is well-marked, and it uses good footpaths and dirt roads.
