This walk starts from Borreguiles, at the top of the cable car. The first part of the walk isn’t particularly attractive, as it goes through part of the ski resort. After that, however, the countryside becomes much prettier, and there are some great views. The last part of the walk takes you down into the Dilar valley. Here there are lots of small streams and some lush meadows that are perfect for a picnic.
Level The route is easy to follow and the terrain is mostly undemanding on wide tracks and roads.
One thing to bear in mind is that although the walk is straightforward, there is a small risk that you will suffer altitude sickness, in which case you will need to head back down.
For a longer hike, this walk could be combined with our Laguna de las Yeguas walk.
When to go The walk is only possble when the ski lifts are open, usually from late June to the end of August.
