After a steep climb up from the village of Dúdar, you join the path from Granada to Beas, which provides fantastic views of the high mountains. After skirting past Beas, there is a fairly easy descent back down to Dúdar. If you set out early, you can have lunch in Dúdar after finishing your walk.
Level Most of the route uses wide tracks and dirt roads, but it is not signposted, so you will need to follow the route description or GPS trail. After the initial uphill section, the going is fairly easy.
When to go The best times to go are late autumn, winter and spring, when you have views of snowy mountains and it isn’t too hot.
Water You can get water in Dúdar but none is available on the route, unless you take a small detour down to the village of Beas de Granada.
Location: East of Granda The hike starts from the village of Dúdar.
